I just got this e-mail...if you need to print, get down there, if you are interest, give Michael a call...
Aline,
Just to let you know: the darkroom is suffering badly financially owing to low usage. I have gone to Freestyle and Ilford rep Veronica with this issue. They might be able to help. But what I really need is an infusion of serious money. If you know of a person or group or org who would consider funding us in order to keep the art alive and let us get into some really interesting photo community activities such as shows, classes, etc. please alert them and ask them to contact me directly. They can have anything they want: equity, free shows, free printing, or just the pure glory of philanthropy......
Should my efforts to find funding fail, we are looking at closure, which I think would cast a pall over our community and validate those who say film is dead.
