I opened my e-mail today with an e-mail from Center:
"I am pleased to inform you that you have been nominated for the Santa Fe Prize for Photography. This award brings new talent to light by honoring and providing a $5,000 cash award to a gifted and committed photographer. Nominations were requested from a number of influential curators, editors, publishers, and educators. It is an honor to be nominated, and we extend our sincere congratulations."
Needless to say, I am honored, floored, and yes, speechless.....
