i'll be attending my 8th annual photo la this weekend (viewing, not exhibiting). overwhelming - a bit like doing 80 galleries in a row while on speed. anyone who saw that Clint Eastwood movie that featured 'speed-zoo' will understand ;-)
i usually have this mix of emotions (slightly tongue in the cheek):
1- inspired by seeing some brilliant creative work (that i didn't think of or beyond my abilities)
2- depressed by seeing some brilliant creative work (that i didn't think of or beyond my abilities)
3- motivated by seeing non-intimidating work that imho not as 'good' as mine being repped by a major gallery

i didn't get to be inspired, depressed, or motivated - i sprained my ankle as i was getting ready to leave the house to go to photo l.a. - rolled my foot over a stupid dog toy! hope you had some fun :-)
